Recently, the elite of Hungarian motorsport and the finest of domestic flavors met at a famous car race. On the occasion of Ecce Homo in the Czech Republic. The story started as a funny joke and ultimately became a real success story. We hope this successful collaboration is just the beginning.
A few weeks ago, Norbert Nagy, two-time European hill climb racing champion, and Gergely Bácsi (RMS Tuningáruház) casually mentioned in their Facebook video that during the tough races, they would really appreciate some domestic “pork liver pâté support.”
Szegedi Paprika Zrt. loves challenges and never says no to a champion. We immediately took action and put together the perfect survival package for them. For peak performance, not only the engine but also the driver and mechanics need premium fuel!
Off to Ecce Homo!
In the suitcases and the truck, alongside our legendary liver pâtés, a generous supply of Házias Ízek ready meals, Snack Uzsonna meatloaf and löncs was also included. The guys competed from June 5-7 at the FIA Hill Climb European Championship round in the Czech Republic, the legendary Sternberk (Ecce Homo), while our delicacies provided premium energy in the pit lane for the corners.
“We trolled so hard at the last EC round with Norbi and the liver pâté that imagine this: Szegedi Paprika Zrt. actually became Norbi’s sponsor!“ – the team wrote on social media, and our liver pâtés not only performed brilliantly during the race but also in the online space.

The “fuel” intended for the guys paid off: Norbi in FIA HEC Group 4, with his rock-solid RMS-powered BMW and professional driving, finished in 2nd place!
